***Meet at Truro Curling Club at 10:30AM***

 

Make your way to the curling club for 10:30AM. Please arrange transportation with your driver if you want to avoid the ~15-minute walk from the hotel. Group will stop at Truro Farmers Market as we walk to Inglis Place shops & restaurants.

Sunday, March 22 – Peggy’s Cove & Museum of Natural History  (Full Day)

***Meet in Hotel Lobby 8:45 AM – return by 5:00 PM***

Peggy’s Cove Glass Studio Handblown glass and artisan shop. Halifax regions’ only glass blowing studio.

 

Cove Gallery and Pottery – Paintings, sculpture and jewellery.

 

Swiss Air Memorial Site –

 

Peggy’s Cove Village – sightseeing and lunch at the Sou-Wester restaurant.

Maritime Museum of the Atlantic – Including the Halifax Explosion and Titanic exhibits

 

Lunch at The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse (at your own cost)

 

Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 – learn of the ongoing story of immigration to Canada
